Are teams mixed gender and ages?
Only U5 "High Fivers" are coed. For U6-U12 boys and girls play on separate teams. Age groups that play together are u6-u7, u8-u9, u10-u11, and u12, u13 and u14.
What does the "U" mean in playing ages
The designation for say "u9" is really an abbreviation for "Nine and Under", not "Under Nine". It comes from the MYSA playing designations for Traveling soccer; and since players can "play up" an age group but not down — they must be no older than the designation playing age for the summer regular season league, which ends at the end of July.
We use those designations for our Rec soccer program so as to make easier any transition a player may do to Traveling soccer.

U5 'High Fivers" (co-ed) play on Fridays.
Each u6-u14 team plays two games per week. Girls play Mon/Wed and Boys Tues/Thurs.

How many players are on the field?
