Basics
MU’s Recreational Youth Soccer League provides an exciting atmosphere for over 900 boys and girls U6 through U14 ages that runs from June 3 to July 25 at Pearl Park. The 70 team league offers a 15 game season along with a kick-off camp on June 1.
Coaching
The Recreation Soccer Program counts on parent coaches to hold practices and run games. This means we need at least one parent to volunteer to coach each team to ensure your child as a team to play on. We would like to thank the many parents who have signed up to coach in past years and we hope you'll volunteer to coach or assist in coaching again! You can sign up to coach during registration.
Coaches Meeting and Training
For our Rec. coaches, there will be A MANDATORY COACH AND ASST. COACH MEETING on Sat., May 18, location TBD. This meeting will prepare all coaches for the upcoming season. Kit Lowen, MU's Rec. Admin. as well as Greg Wheaton, MU's Executive Director, will be in attendance to discuss the upcoming season, the future of the program, and how to prepare recreation players and families to transition to our Traveling Program. Team rosters will be available to the coaches at this time. Immediately following the meeting there will be a free practice session with the kids run by Greg and MU's Camp Director, Zafer. The content of the session will be fun games and exercises that can be implemented with the teams. Coaches will receive a manual with these games and exercises. All Rec. coaches are invited to attend.

Pearl Park Parents- Many volunteers needed on M/T/W/Th nights in June and July during games to help direct families to fields and answer questions.
